Rocky Mountain Composite's Unique Advanced Composite Material Technology

Using new and innovative techniques, RMC has developed highly efficient methods for depositing precise amounts of high performance resins directly onto specialized fibers. Plies, fiber stacks, and other material configurations can be produced in an on-line system.

Materials created by this system can be used to lay resin impregnated fibers directly on a part or a male mold; or, the materials can be converted into broad goods which can be cut into pre-forms and layed-up into female mold cavities for processing and curing.

A New Type of Composite

RMC's signature product is its own proprietary, patented advanced material system: fibeX®. fibeX® materials can be tailored to the performance expectations and specification of the end user. Structures are then designed and tested to assure that expectations are met. RMC's materials deliver outstanding performance that meet or exceed traditional commercially available pre-pregs.

Fiber and resins are acquired at their lowest incremental costs and combined in a vertical, on line operation that saves labor, processing and storage costs. The result is that high performance pre-impregnated composite materials are generated using accepted composite industry practices, but at substantially lower materials and labor costs. These savings can then be passed along, providing high performance structures at an attractively competitive price.
