RMC Manufacturing Services

Some of the ongoing Manufacturing Services projects at RMC include:

Various NACA air inlet scoops and ductings
Filament wound satellite components
Airframe structure manufacturing
Production of flight control surfaces
Test/Validation and end-item manufacturing

Our objective is to provide Manufacturing Service customers with the full support of RMC's resources.

Machining Services

In addition to its composite products, RMC offers a wide array of machining centers as well as a generously equipped machine shop that are available for outside use. The services can be used on a "make-to-print" basis or in conjunction with RMC's engineering services to define an end-item.

Available machines and capabilities include:

Cincinnati Milacron 5-axis CNC Overhead Gantry (355" X 143" X 48") with a 40 HP 18000 RPM Spindle. Ideal for machining composite master tools.
New AWEA 5-axis CNC Machining Center (216" X 106" X 39.5") With a 40 HP 10000 RPM Spindle.
Excellent for large mold making and a variety of machining needs, including large parts or multiple part machining.
HAAS VF3D CNC 3-axis Machining Center (120" X 40" X 30")
HAAS VF3D CNC 3-axis Machining Center (40" X 26" X 25")
HAAS VF3 CNC 3-axis Machining Center (40" X 20" X 24")

A well equipped general machine shop for traditional machining needs.
Journeyman machinists to set-up, run, inspect and deliver needed parts to you are available, as well as state-of-the-art measurement equipment to assure accuracy

In addition to these capabilities, RMC can offer the assistance of its engineering staff, including CAD/CAM programs in support of your immediate or long-term needs.
